The longer answer involves explaining what might have driven Nathaniel Grigsby to request that the following epitaph be placed upon his grave marker:
Through this inscription I wish to enter my dying protest against what is called the Democratic party I have watched it closely since the days of Jackson and know that all the misfortunes of our nation has come to it through this so called party therefore beware of this party of treason.
The explanation of Nathaniel Grigsby's anti-Democratic antipathy requires an understanding of the circumstances of the time.

via Fox News,,So as President are you not sworn to Protect the United States of America..??
"President Obama, in his first public comments on the controversial trade of five Taliban prisoners for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl since the deal was announced, acknowledged Tuesday there's "absolutely" a risk that the former Guantanamo inmates will try to return to the battlefield -- but nevertheless defended the deal as in America's interest.

"I wouldn't be doing it if I thought that it was contrary to American national security," Obama said."

In light of the recent activites going on in Washington and this seemingly insatiable appetite to detroy our Nations Constitution...I am forced to ask...when will you and the rest of our representaives hired by the American people will start working for the American people? These are the people that put there trust in you and the office you fill, pay your salary. You were put there to represent us, not to exploit our taxes and trample over our rights as a free society.

How can anyone justify Obama giving the Brotherhood of Muslims billions of dollars when we are considered infidels to them and they would like to kill us?
I understand he also gave them money ....millions of dollars for one of their holidays. I am also very angry over the Benghazi scandal. Four Americans died and no one will be honest and tell what really happened. There are too many scandals in this administration....IRS, NSA spying, etc. I was a registered Democrat until I saw what Obama is doing to destroy this country. He is the reason I am not a Republican.

It's not about the party because both the D & R sides have agendas that are not anywhere close to what the American people want an need. What America needs is one leader willing to be honest and talk about how to make everyone safe in the country but keep out of our personal lives. Reagan said it really well, government is the problem, not the solution...

Sir,
Please have your staff review these examples of Government Waste and perhaps introduce legislation to conduct an "Audit" of the Federal Government

Poverty
Ross Willson Posted 4 years ago
Senator Nelson,
"I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. In my youth I traveled much, and I observed in different countries, that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer." Ben Franklin
