Thank You, Congressman. Will you be submitting for federal funds to support the Arverne NY area bulkheads, these bulkheads that have been deteriorating over the years and conditions now inundated from the impacts of Super Storm Sandy deserve mitigation ? What is the plan for mitigation in the Arverne, NY community? Thank You Congressman !!!

Why do Democrats always vote in lock step with Pelosi. It reminds me of here famous quote "You have to pass it before you read it" It seems Pelosi is saying "Just do as I say and you don't have to concern yourself with reading the Bills before you vote on them.

The same goes for President Obama....."Just Obey ME, I always know best. It is this attitude that turns the informed electorate against Democrats.

It seems (looking over Congressional bills & resolutions) that you have been very active promoting mens health issues (especially prostate cancer). I'd like to thank you for this effort, Currently though, I can find nothing past the 110th Congress back in 2007/2008. Have you been actively supporting this issue since then? I can't seem to find any action since that time.
Thank You, CL Dickinson

Congressman Meek, inasmuch as the taxpayers were paid the bailout of the banks from their callous 2008 crisis to exercise due diligence, it's PAYBACK time.I urge you to demand of Pres.Obama that the banks roll back the down payments for primary homeowners and residential home investors from 20 and 25% to10 or 15% respectively for the next 90 days. There are people with excellent credit, incomes and FICO scores who still prefer homeownership rather than rentals. The Trade-off:- In a win-win situation the banks reduce their Foreclosed/reposessed homes in return for a rolled back. downpayment.
