The 14th Amendment can be ratified by the Congress and the Senate. Its not right that an illegal can come into this Country, have a child, reap the benefits as a U.S. citizen, then if need be, go back across the Border and get all the benefits as a U.S. citizen, to include SS, health care, grants, etc. The fences need to be higher, thay need to be electrified, Border agents should be able to do there jobs without them being tied behind their backs. But this current Administration are looking more to the votes than enforcing the Laws that are in front of their faces. Ratify the 14th Amendment!!

Absolutely not. Abuse of our country's constitution in order to skip the hurdles of legal citizenship is dusgusting and wrong. Go back home, have your baby, then follow the rules and gain citizenship legally. Then, SUPPORT YOURSELF!

Our country's resources are already over-extended. It is not fair for pregnant women to enter our country illegally and for them to be rewarded with citizenship for their child including health care and other social services benefits.

Under the 14th Amendment, you must be born here and be subject to the law to be a citizen. That means be here legally. I don't know how the courts screwed this up this simple concept, but the ruling needs to be overturned.

As soon as the baby is born, the mother & father (if known) should be deported immediately and transported back to where ever they came from regardless of other family being here.

I Agree with you! I don't feel that just because your child was born here & you're here illegally that your child should have citizenship here! If you're illegally then your child is illegal too! The USA shouldn't support these children. They should go back to their country & apply legally.

It is quite simple and straightforward. If woman enters illegally the 'unborn' child also entered illegally It isn't magically a child when it comes out of the womb. It is a child long before that point and was being nurtured in the womb
