Do you think she can remember back to when she was 75? Just another sign that the government wants to reach way way way out there just in case something happens that they can control!

Health Care
chrisabs Posted 3 months ago
My health care premium went through the roof and I feel insecure in the workplace.
I understand insurance companies are gouging the customers to stockpile money
in order to pay the increased cost of healthcare. Why didn't anyone mention this would happen and when will health care be affordable for all?

Heck, I had to give up my health care insurance because of the cost. When the bill passed, they gave too much time for it to really kick in. Now the health care insurers are ruling the roost.

Insurance companies are using the Health Care Bill as an excuse to raise rates. They will be gaining customers through the health care bill, and will NOT be losing money because of it. You are being fed a pack of lies. The "mandate" is an insurance company's dream, and was originally a Republican idea. But you won't hear that on Fox News.

Healthcare will go down as Obamacare fully institutes itself. That is to say, we will get refunds on any healthcare we do not get because it was not needed or not used. Also, competition within the exchange may cause the competing carriers to lower premiums in order to get us to select them. This pertains to the 30 million getting Obamacare and the rest of us not in it! Win Win for all of us. Also, Republican refusal to help create a better bill allowed the carriers to cash in on us, and sustained campaign funds for Republicans.

Well perhaps if SHE had read the bill and understood it before the Vote, but no Pelosi was too busy getting her "deal" on the VISA IPO.

Economy
Geoff Grossman Posted 3 months ago
If social security is OK for most Americans retirement, let's fix the deficit by ending bloated gov't pensions and let the gov't employees have the same social security retirement as those who are paying the bill. In twenty years vast resources the will go to retired gov't employees and the rest will have to beg for the scraps. Wow, only in America! There is another way though, get our productivity back and grow the private sector with Reagan like economic policies; we can stay the greatest country on earth if we do! The USA can enjoy abundance once again!

With oil at $90/barrel, which is 68% of its all time high price of $147/barrel from July 2008; why isn't gasoline $2.52 per gallon at the pump, this would be 68% $4.12 on national average from July 2008?

Solution: Breakup the Oil Refining and Distribution network in California PLUS prosecute the price gouging participants in that system.

Congresswoman Pelosi, I'm tired of you, the President, and all the other Democrats blaming President Bush for the bad economy. The Economy was doing well, even coming back from the disaster of 9/11, until you took over as Speaker and the Dems controlled the House. That along with Barney Frank pushing Fannie and Freddie is why our economy crashed. You know it is your fault. I'm sure you love it every time it is blamed on President Bush.

RELEASE YOUR RETURNS AND THEN DO US ALL A FAVOR AND RETIRE. You are an elitist and you play unfair and deceptive political games. You were raised with a silver spoon in your mouth - surely you can find something else to do without wreaking mayhem on the American people.
