Is there ONE set of cajonies in Congress?

Why doesn't someone stand up to that traitor in the White House, arrest him for treason, try him, and send him to GITMO?

I don't think there is ONE brave honorable man in Congress or they would be screaming to high heaven about this. I truely believe that they are all scared to stand up.

Well said however I'm hoping for a 30% reduction in the overall size of the Federal Government, caveats to Defense and Social Security. The Government needs to be "audited" to find wasteful spending in redundancy in Federal Programs, all unnecessary Departments, programs, grants, and projects need to be eliminated. I would start with the EPA there is no official oversight, and the program has become an obstructionist bloated boheamoth that prevents businesses, agriculture to grow and sustain our economy

Mr. Ryan,
Quote from John Kennedy, might use it during Fiscal negotiations..

The tax on capital gains directly affects investment decisions, the mobility and flow of risk capital... the ease or difficulty experienced by new ventures in obtaining capital, and thereby the strength and potential for growth in the economy.

2 questions: 1- Now as VP selection for Gov. Romney will you fold into the big-money banker world or will you stay in touch with people like us? 2- Your budget balancing proposals were vilified by the democratic party members as crushing the poor and needy. Can you in your own words explain how you plan to address the massive amount of government supported families and insure they will transition into productive members of our society?

I agree that we must reverse the culture of dependency.
I support reworking Medicare for people over 55, I am 50.
We must cut spending!
Gov. assistance is far too extensive and the eligibility is far too lenient. These programs should be based on real need, not relative want. We should help a person get back on his feet but not let him keep his feet up.
We must eliminate agencies out side of the three branches of our gov. We must eliminate over reaching regulation, pass and maintain a balanced budget.
I support simplifying the tax code.

Social Security has been used for decades by Congress to fund their "pork barrel" projects and to use a current phrase "kicked the can down the road" instead of addressing the real issues.

I agree. Your first move should be to place Social Security back under its own bracket. Make it untouchable for any political party. The problem is a direct result of allowing it to be used for anything but what it was originally mandated for. Once DC robbed from it, it became a house of cards ready to tumble down. Only people who pay into it gets to use it. that means no illigals, unemployed, persons on welfare with no jobs. It is a simple concept and has only become a panic button because of robber barons in our government. If you did this in the private sector, you would be in jail.

Are there any alternative plans for health care when Obamacare is determined to be unconstitutional?

Do you see more chance of your bill passing this time? Last time it was sneered at by the Democrats (who have yet to put for any plan at all!). It seems to be a well thought-out, decent plan to move us forward. At the very least I would like to see it be a beginning point for serious discussion by people who are serious about trying to get our fiscal house in order. God bless you...and good luck! We're all watching.

Why does Congressman Ryan feel he needs to try and balance the budget by taking pay from gov workers. This not 2008 we moving toward recovery as a country. I agree some agencies need to have cuts but not by freezing pay for 3 more year for gov wk. Again what are the cuts for congressman and senetors? They are gov workers too! But yet they have crazy salaries and well the benefits well they are just outrageous! Get rid of red tape is the long process of gov paper wk and u could save trillions. Start being realistic not dramatic and a headline catcher!
