All Congressional salaries and benefits should be limited to a certified 'needs statement by the General Accountability Office (GAO) and should not exceed the military pay grade of E-9. Rand's plan actually REDUCES spending when compared to LAST YEAR. Sure, Ryan's plan is better than Obama's plan, but is that really any kind of standard to compare it to? In the words of George Washington, We must rise a higher standard!

You need to watch more Freedom Watch with Judge Napolitano. Rand Paul explained it very clearly - he voted NO because the Ryan budget was still a BIG INCREASE in government spending! The only way the Ryan budget looks appealing is when you place it next to the gross Obama budget. Sort of like putting a Cow next to a Pig and saying, wow that sure is a clean cow. If you've ever walked behind a cow, you'd know how ridiculous that is.
